Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Java and Struts Developer to join our software development team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java, Struts (preferably Struts 1.x or 2.x), and related technologies. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level web applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain web applications using Java, Struts framework, JSP, Servlets, and JDBC.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot existing applications and provide timely support.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
  • Work with databases like Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL to manage data and perform SQL operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 6-10 years of hands-on experience with Java and Struts (1.x or 2.x).
  • Proficiency in JSP, Servlets, JDBC, HTML, CSS, JavaScript..
  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
  • Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices and performance optimization.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience migrating from Struts to Spring or other modern frameworks.Role & responsibilities
