Job Title:
Junior Design Engineer

Education Qualification:
B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering

Eligibility Criteria:
Completed degree; basic design or project experience preferred.

Experience:
0–2 Years

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and SolidWorks as per project requirements.
  • Assist in preparing detailed engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and GA drawings.
  • Support senior engineers in concept design, prototyping, and product development.
  • Perform basic design calculations, tolerance analysis, and material selection under guidance.
  • Maintain proper documentation of designs, revisions, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure manufacturability and feasibility of designs.
  • Participate in design reviews, contribute suggestions, and implement approved changes.
  • Assist in preparing technical presentations and reports for internal/external stakeholders.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting) and SolidWorks (3D modeling, assemblies, sheet metal, weldments, and drawing modules).
  • Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, fabrication, welding, sheet metal, etc.).
  • Familiarity with engineering materials, standards, and tolerances.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and analytical thinking.
  • Good communication skills for effective team coordination.
  • Quick learner with the ability to work under the guidance of senior engineers.

Probation Period:

3 months

Work Environment:

Office-based role with occasional visits to the production/shop floor.
