Senior Programmer Insurance & FinanceRole Overview : We are looking for a seasoned Senior Programmer to lead the development, maintenance, and enhancement of core insurance applications, manage internal and third-party software initiatives, and support business intelligence (BI) and reporting solutions. The ideal candidate should have extensive programming experience and a deep understanding of the insurance and finance sectors. Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and maintain core insurance applications and internal enterprise tools.
  • Customize and automate existing systems to improve performance and user experience.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define solution architecture and perform detailed system analysis.
  • Develop BI & MIS reports using tools like QlikView, PowerBuilder, and other reporting platforms.
  • Provide technical support, resolve production issues, and coordinate with external vendors.
  • Document all system changes, enhancements, and integration processes.
  • Work on software upgrade projects, new implementations, and continuous process improvements.
  • Explore and integrate Low-Code/No-Code platforms to enhance productivity and rapid delivery.

Required Qualifications :

  • 10 years of experience in application development, including Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Forms & Reports.
  • Strong domain knowledge in Insurance (Motor, Life, Health, P&C) and Finance.
  • Proficiency in one or more of : Java, JavaScript, Python, C , ASP.NET.
  • Frontend development experience using HTML5, CSS3, Angular, , or NestJS.
  • Experience in BI tools such as QlikView, PowerBuilder, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with Low-Code/No-Code platforms (e.g., Oracle APEX, Outsystems, Power Apps).
