Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary:

The Accountant will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. The role involves handling resort-related accounting activities such as vendor payments, guest billing, payroll support, taxation, and audits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update daily books of accounts (cash, bank, purchase, sales, journal entries).
  • Handle accounts payable & receivable, vendor reconciliation, and guest ledger reconciliation.
  • Monitor revenue collection from room bookings, restaurants, banquets, spa, and other services.
  • Prepare and verify daily sales reports (DSR) and bank deposits.
  • Process staff payroll, advances, and related statutory deductions (PF, ESIC, TDS, PT).
  • Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances and ensure timely filing.
  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closing and preparation of MIS reports.
  • Support in internal & statutory audits by providing necessary documents and clarifications.
  • Control expenses and ensure adherence to resort financial policies and budgets.

Experience: 2 to 4 years

Qualification: B.com
