Job Title: Senior Golang Developer

Experience: 6–7 years

Location: Bangalore

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Golang Developer who can design and build reliable,

high-performance backend services using Go. The candidate should have deep expertise in

Golang fundamentals and hands-on experience in building scalable, distributed applications.

Key Responsibilities

● Design, develop, and maintain backend services exclusively in Golang.

● Build and manage RESTful and gRPC APIs using Go.

● Implement concurrency patterns using goroutines and channels.

● Optimize Go applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.

● Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure robust code.

● Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) through Go database drivers/ORMs.

● Use Go tools for profiling, debugging, and performance optimization.

● Collaborate with other engineers in code reviews, design discussions, and architecture

planning.

● Follow best practices for Go modules, error handling, and coding standards.

Required Skills

● 6–7 years of backend development experience with at least 4+ years in Golang.● Strong understanding of Golang internals (memory management, garbage collection,

concurrency).

● Hands-on experience with Go frameworks (Gin, Echo, Fiber, Chi, etc.).

● Expertise in goroutines, channels, and Go's concurrency model.

● Strong knowledge of Go's standard library (net/http, context, sync, io, etc.).

● Proficiency with database integrations (Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).

● Solid understanding of testing in Go (testing package, testify, mocks).

● Familiarity with Go tools: go mod, go fmt, go vet, golint.

● Experience with Go-based microservices and API design.

● Good understanding of error handling and logging in Go.

Nice to Have

● Experience with gRPC in Golang.

● Knowledge of Go generics and design patterns.

● Exposure to Go-based messaging systems (NATS, Kafka clients in Go).

● Experience with Go concurrency debugging tools (pprof, race detector).

Education

● Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience
