Technical Project Manager- Java/Spring/.NET/C#

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Technical Project Manager to lead our dynamic multinational software development teams. This role requires a leader with a strong technical background and proven project management experience, specifically in overseeing projects involving Java/Spring backend services and C#/.NET (WPF) desktop applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding projects through the entire lifecycle, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while effectively communicating with stakeholders and managing team resources.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex software projects involving Java backend, C#/.NET desktop, and web front-end components.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project, including leading daily stand-ups and sprint planning sessions.
• Facilitate communication between development teams, QA, designers, and product owners to ensure alignment and clear understanding of requirements.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, and escalate them when necessary.
• Track project milestones and deliverables using appropriate tools and provide regular progress reports to stakeholders.
• Ensure the development teams adhere to best practices in software development and Agile methodologies.
• Manage client relationships, understand their needs, and ensure their expectations are met.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and motivation to project team members to foster a high-performing and collaborative environment.

Requirements

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in software project management.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering software projects from start to finish.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Demonstrable experience managing projects that utilize Java/Spring for backend development and C#/.NET (specifically WPF) for desktop applications.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
• Expertise in Agile and Scrum methodologies; experience acting as a Scrum Master is highly desirable.
• Excellent knowledge of project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, MS Project).
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate effectively with technical teams.

Additional (Nice to have) Skills:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification.
• Experience with projects involving cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Experience in managing projects with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience managing projects for industries such as automotive, medical devices, or industrial systems.
• Experience with budget management and financial reporting for projects.

Education:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
