Job Title: Site Engineer

Location: Chennai

Experience: 6–8 Years

Industry: Residential & Commercial Construction

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day site activities for residential and commercial projects, ensuring work is executed as per drawings, quality standards, and timelines.
  • Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and labor teams, ensuring adherence to safety and compliance regulations.
  • Coordinate with architects, consultants, and project managers for smooth execution of works.
  • Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
  • Monitor site progress, prepare daily/weekly site reports, and highlight deviations or delays.
  • Ensure proper utilization of materials and resources with minimum wastage.
  • Conduct quality checks of civil, structural, finishing, and MEP works at site.
  • Resolve technical issues, provide guidance to site teams, and ensure corrective actions.
  • Assist in preparing project schedules, work programs, and progress tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with safety norms and statutory requirements at site.

Skills & Qualifications

  • B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
  • 6–8 years of proven site execution experience in residential and commercial building projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and finishing standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, structural designs, and specifications.
  • Hands-on experience with project planning tools and MS Office.
  • Good communication and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and statutory requirements.

Salary: Negotiable for the right candidate

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35, ₹40,000.00 per month
