Talent Acquisition Advisor

The Talent Acquisition Advisor for India will manage the full recruitment cycle for positions within the Global Capability Center (GCC). This role requires deep understanding of the Indian talent market, compliance with local labor laws, and collaboration with global and regional stakeholders. The Advisor will ensure a positive candidate experience, promote the company's employer brand in India, and contribute to building a high-performing team aligned with global standards.
Additionally, this role will operate in a startup-like environment while maintaining alignment with Generac, a U.S.-based corporate entity, requiring adaptability, resourcefulness, and strong communication across time zones.
Major Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for GCC roles, from job posting to offer acceptance.
- Partner with global and local hiring managers to define hiring needs and create culturally relevant job postings.
- Build recruitment processes from the ground up for a new GCC.
- Operate with agility and flexibility in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Identify and implement scalable hiring practices suitable for rapid growth.
- Collaboration with U.S. Corporate Leadership:
- Serve as a liaison between India operations and U.S. Talent Acquisition headquarters.
- Align hiring strategies with global standards while adapting to local market realities.
- Communicate effectively across time zones and cultural contexts.
- Use India-specific sourcing channels (Naukri, LinkedIn India, local job boards, campus hiring, and networking).
- Screen candidates for technical skills, cultural fit, and alignment with global values.
- Deliver a seamless and culturally sensitive candidate journey.
- Act as a brand ambassador for the company in India.
- Represent the company at Indian job fairs, campus events, and professional networks.
- Maintain accurate records in ATS and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (including GDPR and Indian laws)Ensure compliance with Indian labor laws and company policies.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field.
- 3+ years in talent acquisition within India, preferably for multinational companies or GCCs.
- Experience in startup or greenfield environments and building processes from scratch.
- Exposure to working with U.S.-based corporate teams or global organizations.
Skills:
- Familiarity with ATS and recruitment tools used in India.
- Knowledge of Indian labor laws and compliance requirements.
- Strong communication skills in English and local languages (preferred).
- Ability to work across time zones and collaborate with global teams.
- High adaptability and problem-solving skills for dynamic environments.
