Job summary

As a Technology Support III at JP Morgan Chase within the Corporate Technology, you ensure the stability, availability, and performance of our production application flows. You foster a culture of continuous improvement while supporting seamless user experiences across our technology systems.

Job responsibilities

  • Delivers end-to-end application or infrastructure service to enable successful business operations.
  • Supports daily maintenance of systems to ensure operational stability and availability.
  • Monitors production environments for anomalies and addresses issues using observability tools.
  • Identifies and escalates issues, providing solutions to business and technology stakeholders.
  • Analyzes complex situations to anticipate and resolve incidents, problems, and changes across full stack technology systems.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
  • Experience troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of applications or infrastructure in large-scale technology environments, including on premises and public cloud.
  • Experience with observability and monitoring tools and techniques.
  • Exposure to processes within the Information Technology Infrastructure Library framework.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience with general purpose programming languages or automation scripting.
  • Working understanding of public cloud.
