Job Description:

Qualification: B.Sc / M.Sc / PG In SCM / Materials Management
Experience: Min. 7 to 12 years in purchase department, preferably from the paint and chemical industry of mid to small size.
Industry: Preference would be given to a candidate from chemical industry. (Blending units)
Work location: Nerul in Navi Mumbai. Based in Navi Mumbai / need to visit Khalapur production unit once a week or more as per requirement.

System Proficiency:
ERP-Tally / any other
MS – Office (Proficiency in Excel / Word/Emails / MIS / Presentation)
Communication: Proficient in English, Marathi, Hindi (written / oral)

Experience Requirements: in chemical sourcing, candidate with background of sourcing of coating / minerals would be Of added advantage.
1. min 7+ Years of Experience working with purchase department of organisation of repute.
2. Dealing with solvents, additives, packing material,minerals & ensuring the complete purchase to pay cycle with compliance.
3. Strong communicator / Negotiation skills / people management.
4. Record management related to purchase department.
5. Good knowledge of import procedures / Exim policies
6. Should have worked with manufacturing set up & having exposure dealing with R&D, QC , Stores.

1. Factory Head/ Unit Heads
2. HOD – Production / Mtn
3. Dispatch section
4. HoD - Purchase
5. HoD – Stores (RM & FG)
6. Sales Heads / regional teams.

Technical/Functional Expertise
1. Strong in negotiations and vendor development
2. Rate negotiating skills for rate contracts / AMC.
3. Excellent written and oral communication skills
4. Experience in Procurement function in chemical manufacturing industry.
5. Knowledge of Tally ERP / MS Office (Proficiency in Excel)
