Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards.
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing process.
- Maintain general ledger and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, GST, tax filings, and bank reconciliations.
- Monitor and analyse accounting data to produce financial reports or statements.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Coordinate budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
- Support the Finance Manager/CFO with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Master's degree or CPA in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 12 to 15 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Tally).
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations, financial laws, and accounting standards.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time, office-based position.
- May require extended hours during closing or audit periods.
