The Opportunity

Imagine combining your engineering background with cutting-edge AI to create learning experiences that didn't exist before. You'll be designing intelligent simulators, generating adaptive courses, and making geothermal energy education accessible to thousands of learners worldwide. This isn't traditional course creation. This is AI-augmented education engineering.

What You'll Do

Build AI-Powered Learning Systems

• Deploy AI agents to automatically develop, test, and refine geothermal course content at scale
• Design prompts and workflows that turn technical papers into interactive learning modules
• Create intelligent assessment systems that adapt to learner performance

Develop State-of-the-Art Simulations

• Leverage AI to build advanced simulations using mathematical models for EGS drilling, reservoir modeling, and heat extraction
• Work with physics-based equations and numerical models to create realistic geothermal well scenarios
• Design interactive exercises that bridge theory and real-world application

Technical Content Engineering

• Research and synthesize information on emerging geothermal technologies
• Transform complex subsurface concepts into clear, engaging explanations
• Create learning pathways for different audiences: students, professionals, career-switchers

Platform Innovation

• Test and improve our AI course generation pipeline
• Contribute ideas for adaptive learning features and recommendation engines
• Help shape product decisions based on learner feedback and educational best practices

Who We're Looking For

We need someone who is passionate about geothermal energy, excited about AI in education, and eager to shape how the next generation learns about clean energy systems.

Must-Have Education

B.Tech or M.Tech in Geology, Geophysics, Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related geoscience/energy fields.

Preferred Background

• Graduates from IITs or premier institutes
• Coursework or project experience in geothermal energy, reservoir engineering, or subsurface systems
• Understanding of heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and thermodynamics
• Chemical or mechanical engineers with demonstrated interest in geothermal or energy applications

Technical Skills & Competencies

• AI Tool Proficiency:
  Active experience with ChatGPT, Claude, or other LLM platforms for content generation and problem-solving
• Programming (Preferred):
  Python, MATLAB, or similar for data analysis and simulation scripting
• Research & Synthesis:
  Ability to read technical papers, industry reports, and textbooks and convert them into clear learning materials
• Communication:
  Excellent written and verbal English skills with ability to explain complex concepts simply
• Digital Tools:
  Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and learning management platforms
• Curiosity & Adaptability:
  Willingness to learn new AI tools, simulation software, and emerging geothermal technologies

Must-Have

• B.Tech/M.Tech (or final-year) in Geology, Geophysics, Chemical, Petroleum, Mechanical Engineering, or related energy discipline
• Solid understanding of geothermal energy principles, subsurface systems, or thermal engineering
• Strong English communication skills — written and verbal
• Active experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) for technical work
• Research skills and ability to synthesize complex information
• Genuine curiosity about geothermal energy and the energy transition

Preferred
