Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced yarn sales professional to manage our sales in the Tirupur market. The ideal candidate will have extensive technical knowledge of yarn applications in knitted and woven fabrics and a strong existing network of buyers in the Tirupur and Karur regions.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Business Development: Conduct daily customer visits to generate orders and identify new business opportunities. Expand market reach through frequent travel to assigned territories.
  • Product Expertise: Promote and sell blended and fancy yarns, alongside basic 100% Cotton, CSY, and Slub Yarns.
  • Product Development: Act as a liaison between the customer and the factory team to facilitate new product developments based on market trends.
  • Commercial Operations: Perform customer due diligence and manage the entire sales cycle from requirement gathering to ensuring timely payments. A strong working knowledge of costing is mandatory.
  • Technical Support: Address and resolve technical issues, including working performance and fabric appearance in knitted and woven fabrics. Provide expert solutions for yarn-related complaints.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Yarn Marketing, specifically within the Tirupur and Karur markets.
  • Network: Must possess a strong rapport with local buyers and key decision-makers in the region.
  • Languages: Fluency in Tamil, English, and Hindi is mandatory.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation skills, technical understanding of knitting and yarns, and financial Insight regarding costing and collections.
