• Supervise staff: Manage and train waiters and other service staff, including assigning tables and roles for each shift.
• Manage daily operations: Oversee the smooth functioning of the restaurant, bar, or dining area to ensure efficiency and high service standards.
• Ensure guest satisfaction: Handle guest complaints, special requests, and VIP reservations to provide a positive and memorable experience.
• Coordinate with other departments: Communicate with the kitchen to ensure timely preparation and quality of food, and check that all pre-service items are ready.
• Conduct pre-service checks: Inspect the dining area and side stations to ensure everything is clean, stocked, and properly set up before guests arrive.
• Handle administrative tasks: Take orders, present bills, process payments, and prepare end-of-shift reports.
