Full Stack Developer

The Senior Salesforce Developer will design, develop, and implement SaaS-based Application, Data, and Integration Engineering solutions that run our internal business, as well as evaluate existing components or systems to determine integration requirements and to ensure final solutions meet organizational needs. This role requires deep Salesforce configuration & customization knowledge, integration experience, and sound judgment in order to plan and deliver effectively. Over time, the successful candidate will own one or more pieces of our Enterprise Application Projects and may be required to lead or direct the work of others. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director, Engineering.

Responsibility

• Perform development tasks as key contributor; consistently deliver complex engineering projects and assignments on time and to the highest quality, while coaching and mentoring less experienced team members in their work 
• Lead and oversee development of multiple minor to major technologies and associated project teams by ensuring timely and high quality deliverables across multiple engineering projects and teams 
• Lead self and others through new concept development and implementation
• Take full ownership of some of our components, from development to testing to performance tuning 

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

Basic

• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
• 8+ years of experience within a software engineering related field
• Back end development experience using
• Proficiency in modern server- side development using Javascript
• Experience with NoSQL and SQL
• Experience with Docker or other containerization technologies.
• Experience working with scalable microservices
• Experience making improvements to existing large code base
• Experience using Git or other version control systems
• Fluency in English both verbal and written

Preferred

• Ability to write high quality code that is easy to maintain and read by others
• Strong understanding and experience in agile methodologies
