We are Hiring for Quality Compliance Officer (Food Industry) for our Manufacturing Company.

The Company:

We are a frozen foods manufacturing company based in Chembur, Mumbai. We manufacture a range of frozen pizzas, croissants, cakes, cookies, breads, muffins, and other savory products for selling to large B 2 B institutional clients.

Job Description:

We are looking for a young, dynamic, enthusiastic In-Process Quality Compliance Officer who is excellent at documentation and maintaining all sorts of compliance documents. Must be qualified in food technology and/or preservation sciences.

Job Location: Koparkhairane Only prefer candidate who stay in Navi Mumbai

Experience: 0-2 Years (Bakery products Prefer)

Salary - 15k - 20k (Freshers are Welcome)

Role:

The Quality Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring that daily operations in the production facility comply with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The role includes conducting routine quality checks, maintaining records, completing daily quality reports, and supporting audits and corrective actions.

Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Quality Monitoring

  • Conduct daily quality inspections across production lines (raw materials, process, packaging, and finished goods).
  • Fill out and submit daily quality compliance reports accurately and on time.
  • Record CCP (Critical Control Point) and OPRP monitoring as per food safety standards.
  • Verify sanitation and hygiene practices during each shift.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Maintain all quality-related documentation, including checklists, logs, and non-conformance reports.
  • Ensure records comply with FSSAI, HACCP, ISO 22000, BRC, or other relevant food safety standards.
  • Report any deviations, potential hazards, or non-compliances to the Quality Manager.

Process Control & Improvement

  • Assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Monitor the effectiveness of quality control processes and suggest improvements.
  • Support internal and external audits.

Training & Coordination

  • Coordinate with production, maintenance, and sanitation teams to ensure adherence to quality guidelines.
  • Assist in training employees on food safety practices, hygiene standards, and SOPs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in food manufacturing or quality/compliance roles.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, GHP, ISO 22000, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to identify deviations quickly.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Excel, ERP preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • HACCP / Food Safety certification.
  • Experience in bakery, dairy, beverages, spices, meat processing, or similar food sectors.
