Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Perundurai

Experience : 5 – 6 years

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to lead and manage our Accounts Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising the accounts team, allocating work effectively, ensuring timely completion of all accounting tasks, and maintaining compliance with statutory regulations. Prior experience in the electronics manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead and manage the Accounts Department team, delegating and monitoring tasks to ensure timely and accurate completion.

· Handle full-cycle accounting including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger.

· Prepare, review, and file GST returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.

· Monitor cash flow, reconcile bank statements, and maintain financial accuracy.

· Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

· Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

· Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of all financial transactions.

· Provide guidance and support to junior accountants, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and processes.

· Coordinate with auditors, vendors, and internal departments for smooth operations.

· Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency in financial operations.

· Exposure to cost accounting, inventory valuation, and production-related accounting will be an added advantage.

Requirements:

· Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

· Minimum 5–6 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.

· Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST filing, taxation, accounts payable/receivable.

· Proficiency in accounting software (Tally/ERP or similar) and MS Office (Excel).

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

· Ability to lead a team and work under deadlines.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Experience in the electronics manufacturing industry will be an added advantage, but not mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15, ₹30,000.00 per month
