Job Description
As an
Oracle Transportation Management Senior Functional Consultant
, you will be responsible for analyzing, documenting, and optimizing OTM solutions for our clients. The role requires deep expertise in
transportation and logistics processes
, along with proficiency in
OTM
to enhance business operations, improve efficiency, and drive system adoption.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze business requirements related to transportation and logistics.
  • Provide expert guidance on OTM capabilities and best practices to optimize logistics processes.
  • Develop functional specifications and system documentation to support operations and optimization activities.
  • Lead workshops and training sessions for clients and end-users, ensuring proper understanding and utilization of OTM.
  • Develop and analyze reports from OTM, generating insights on logistics operations, system health, and utilization.
  • Stay current with OTM features and enhancements to inform clients of potential opportunities for system upgrades and improvements.
  • Develop improvement roadmaps for OTM, including system enhancements and user adoption initiatives.
  • Support project management activities, ensuring successful delivery within project timelines and quality standards.
  • Identify and diagnose issues with upstream and downstream systems, creating workplans to address data gaps.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience working with Oracle Transportation Management or similar transportation management systems.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in end-to-end transportation processes for retail organizations.
  • Proven experience in utilization, configuration, and optimization of OTM.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills focused on process optimization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience with project management methodologies is preferred.
  • Familiarity with supply chain operations, logistics networks, and industry regulations.
  • Understanding of integration points with ERP, WMS, and other enterprise systems.

Preferred Skills

  • OTM Certification.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Experience in facilitating workshops and training sessions for various user levels.
