Job Summary:

As a Payroll Executive, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of employee salaries, statutory compliance, payroll reconciliations, and ensuring all payroll processes adhere to internal policies and regulatory requirements. You will serve as a key point of contact for payroll-related inquiries and ensure smooth payroll operations across the organization.,

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process end-to-end payroll for employees on a monthly/bi-weekly basis.
  • Maintain payroll records, employee data, and salary structures in the payroll system.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory laws and regulations (e.g., PF, ESI, TDS, PT, LWF, etc.).
  • Calculate employee benefits, deductions, incentives, bonuses, and reimbursements.
  • Coordinate with HR and finance departments for attendance, leave, and salary updates.
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports to management as needed.
  • Handle payroll audits, reconciliations, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Respond to employee queries regarding payslips, tax deductions, or other payroll issues.
  • Liaise with external vendors (if payroll is outsourced) and ensure accurate data sharing.
  • Ensure timely filing and payment of statutory dues and returns.

Required Skills :

  • Strong knowledge of payroll software (e.g., ADP, SAP, GreytHR, Zoho Payroll, Paychex, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Indian labor laws and statutory compliance (or applicable to your country).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
