Responsibilities

  • Implement Guidewire products state rollouts for BillingCenter / PolicyCenter
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior Guidewire developers
  • Gather business requirements, check technical feasibility, and coordinate with offshore teams
  • Perform hands-on development (40%) for BillingCenter configurations and integrations
  • Coordinate with offshore and onshore teams to resolve production incidents
  • Review offshore work in areas such as PCF configuration, business rules, and data model creation
  • Manage and communicate team progress to leadership
  • Provide technical support for PolicyCenter/BillingCenter in production
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for defect analysis and system stability

Technical Skills

  • Expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter / BillingCenter implementation and state rollouts
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Billing methods customization
  • Invoice structure & delinquency workflows
  • Cancellation/Reinstatement processes
  • Commissions, Disbursements, and Batch processes
  • Proficiency with SQL Server / DB2 databases
  • Experience in 3rd-party platform integrations
  • Familiar with Application Servers WebSphere, Apache Tomcat, JBoss
  • Skilled in Gosu, Guidewire APIs, Rules, and Web Services (SOAP, REST, XML)
  • Knowledge of version control systems such as SVN or Git
  • Guidewire Certified (PolicyCenter / BillingCenter)

Must Have

  • 5-8 years hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter/BillingCenter
  • One complete end-to-end implementation experience
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills
  • REST/SOAP web service integration experience is a plus
