Qualcomm Software Engineers collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams to design system-level software solutions and obtain information on performance requirements and interfaces.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.Please find JD Below.2-5 years work experience in embedded software and/or driver.Candidate should be detail-oriented and have strong analytic and problem-solving skills, highly organizedExtremely strong knowledge with C/C++ programming.Good understanding of overall embedded system architecture.Basic working experience in 2D and 3D graphics technology and standards such as OpenGL, OpenGL ES/EGL, Vulkan is a plus.Experience in any multimedia areas like Display/Video/GFX/Camera/Audio is a plus.Experience and/or knowledge of the use of the GPU as a compute engine: GPGPU and OpenCL is an asset.Experience with virtualization technologies across CPU and MM hardware accelerators is a plus.Experience with writing vertex and fragment shaders using shading languages such as GLSL is a plus.Knowledge in one or more of the following operating systems is preferred: Android, QNX, embedded Linux, Genivi, Integrity.Strong communication skills (written and verbal), working with teams across multiple time zones.A passion for excellence in programming, and exceeding goals.Required: Bachelor's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer and/or Electrical Engineering Preferred: Master's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer and/or Electrical EngineeringApplicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
