Job Responsibilities

  1. Develops, implements, and maintains comprehensive accounting systems and internal controls; oversees and participates in the review and analysis of financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.

  2. Assists in formulating detailed financial plans by evaluating statistical and financial data, preparing budgets, forecasting service volumes, proposing staffing requirements, and projecting operating costs.

  3. Establishes accounting requirements to ensure seamless integration into patient accounting systems, fiscal and statistical information systems, and other organizational accounting frameworks.

  4. Analyzes financial data and develops methodologies for tracking and reporting financial information to external agencies for auditing purposes in Bangalore.

  5. Prepares comprehensive financial reports, including cost reimbursement plans for government employee programs and other insurance providers; compiles reports on organizational and enterprise fund activities to fulfill academic, promotional, and continuing education obligations.

  6. Plans, assigns, and supervises the work of subordinate accountants and clerical staff; provides training and conducts performance evaluations to ensure operational efficiency.

  7. Prepares and publishes monthly financial statements, including the Balance Sheet, Statement of Revenue and Expenses, and Statement of Cash Flows, in accordance with established standards.

  8. Oversees the accuracy and integrity of all accounting processes and financial records.

  9. Prepares and processes financial transfers to vendors and manages billing for program activities.

  10. Prepares and submits surveys for public health agencies and economic bureaus as required.

  11. Serves as the organization's liaison for audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and facilitating effective communication with external auditors.
