Job Title: Senior SAP PS/FICO Consultant - SAP Public Cloud Implementation

Job Description:

We are looking for an accomplished Senior SAP Project Systems (PS) Consultant with strong skills in SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO) to join our SAP Public Cloud implementation project team. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record in end-to-end SAP PS implementations, advanced knowledge of FICO integration, and hands-on experience with S/4HANA Public Cloud. This senior position combines deep project management accounting expertise with robust finance solution design and leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP PS solutions integrated with FICO in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud environments.
  • Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements related to project management, accounting, budgeting, and reporting into best-practice SAP cloud solutions.
  • Configure and optimize SAP PS functionality including project structuring (WBS, networks), planning, cost tracking, billing, and settlement.
  • Integrate SAP PS with FICO modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Asset Accounting, Controlling) for seamless project financial processes.
  • Support project budgeting, forecasting, and reporting - ensuring compliance with financial standards and client requirements in the public cloud.
  • Lead workshops, deliver user training, and develop high-quality documentation such as solution designs, process flows, configuration guides, and test scripts.
  • Oversee data migration, perform testing, and support go-live and post-implementation hypercare.
  • Mentor and guide junior consultants and team members, ensuring delivery excellence and adherence to project timelines.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for both project systems and financial processes during all project phases.
  • Stay updated on SAP PS/FICO innovations and best practices for the Public Cloud to drive continuous improvement and effective solutions.


Details:

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor"s or master"s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of SAP project experience with a minimum of 5 years specializing in SAP PS, and strong proficiency in FICO modules.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA implementations, including at least one Public Cloud project.
  • Deep understanding of project accounting, controlling, cost/revenue analysis, and financial integration points.
  • Proven ability to design, configure, and deliver end-to-end SAP PS solutions with integrated FICO functionality.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP S/4HANA for Project Systems and/or Financial Accounting/Management Accounting is strongly preferred.
