About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative 3D Designer and Technician to join our team. This role combines hands-on operation of 3D printing(FDM and SLA) with digital design responsibilities. You will manage the full lifecycle from CAD modeling to post-processing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, operate, and maintain a range of 3D printers (FDM/SLA).
  • Convert conceptual designs into 3D CAD models using software such as Fusion360 or Blender.
  • Slice, optimize, and set up print jobs to achieve quality and efficiency goals.
  • Perform routine printer calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Inspect and post-process printed parts (support removal, sanding, finishing if required).
  • Test new materials, techniques, and printing technologies to enhance capabilities.
  • Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience with 3D printers and CAD design software.
  • Understanding of 3D printing technologies (FDM, SLA, resin printing, etc.).
  • Familiarity with slicing software (Cura, PrusaSlicer, Orca Slicer etc.).
  • Problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing tolerances and materials.
  • Good communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in industrial design, mechanical engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with 3D scanning, reverse engineering, or rapid prototyping.
  • Knowledge of post-processing techniques (sanding, priming, painting).
