We're Hiring: QA Lead (Individual Contributor)

We're looking for a
highly skilled QA Lead (IC)
to take complete ownership of
quality assurance
for key product areas. This is a hands-on leadership role — perfect for someone who loves building quality-first processes while staying deeply involved in
test design, automation, and strategy

What You'll Do

  • Own the
    quality strategy, test planning, and coverage
    for one or more product areas.
  • Design and maintain
    manual and automated test plans, cases, and data
    .
  • Build and enhance
    automation frameworks
    for UI, API, regression, and integration testing.
  • Collaborate closely with
    developers, PMs, and designers
    to ensure smooth, high-quality releases.
  • Identify and track defects through resolution with clear communication.
  • Continuously monitor
    test coverage, defect leakage, and execution efficiency
    .
  • Lead QA reviews, grooming sessions, and design discussions.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers
    , sharing best practices and reviewing test code.
  • Drive
    Agile QA excellence
    through collaboration and proactive quality ownership.


What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Computer Science, Engineering
    , or related field.
  • 5–8 years
    of hands-on QA experience, including
    2+ years in a lead or senior role
    .
  • Strong knowledge of
    QA methodologies, STLC, and test strategy design
    .
  • Expertise with automation tools like
    Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, Postman
    , etc.
  • Skilled in
    API testing, SQL/database validation, and integration testing
    .
  • Scripting skills in
    Python, Java, JavaScript
    , or similar.
  • Experience with
    CI/CD
    (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
  • Great communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.


Nice to Have

  • Performance testing (JMeter, k6, Locust)
  • Mobile testing experience
  • Familiarity with
    Docker / Kubernetes
  • Security or compliance testing knowledge
  • ISTQB certification
