Responsible for both financial accounting tasks and the management of international shipping processes. Key duties include handling accounts payable and receivable, managing bank transactions and reconciliations, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. The export side involves preparing export documentation like invoices and packing lists, coordinating with shipping and logistics companies, managing customs clearance, and maintaining client and shipment records.

Key responsibilities

Accounting and Finance:

  • Manage daily accounting tasks, including payments, receipts, and expenses.
  • Reconcile bank statements and accounts.
  • Prepare and maintain financial statements, ledgers, and journals.
  • Assist with GST and other statutory tax filings and audits.
  • Record and track financial transactions in accounting software like Tally ERP.
  • Handle accounts receivable, including preparing invoices and following up on payments.
  • Manage accounts payable and reconcile vendor accounts.

Export and Documentation:

  • Prepare and manage all export documentation, such as invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
  • Coordinate with logistics, shipping lines, and transportation companies for timely delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with customs and government regulations for export shipments.
  • Liaise with banks on matters like Letter of Credit (LC) preparation and negotiation.
  • Track shipments and manage shipment clearance with customs and ports.
  • Maintain accurate records of all export transactions and shipment details.
  • Communicate with international customers regarding orders and deliveries.

Coordination and Reporting:

  • Coordinate with internal departments like sales, procurement, and dispatch.
  • Maintain and update databases, including sales and marketing information.
  • Support both internal and external audits by providing necessary records.
  • Report on financial health and operational performance to management.

Salary : Up to 45 K pm
