Job Title: Plumbing Design Engineer - Industrial Plants / Non Plant Building

Location: Pune / Mumbai

Experience: 8 to 11 Years

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plumbing Design Engineer with a strong background in Industrial plants / Non Plant Building design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, coordination, and execution of plumbing systems for large-scale industrial and process plant projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop plumbing systems including water supply, drainage, venting, and sanitary systems for industrial/process plants.
  • Prepare detailed engineering drawings, P&IDs, layouts, and isometric diagrams using AutoCAD or similar tools.
  • Perform hydraulic calculations, pipe sizing, and equipment selection (pumps, valves, tanks, etc.).
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation engineers.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international codes (e.g., NBC, IS, ASME, NFPA, etc.).
  • Review vendor drawings and technical submittals.
  • Conduct site visits for design validation, installation supervision, and commissioning support.
  • Prepare BOQs, technical specifications, and tender documents.
  • Support project planning, cost estimation, and risk assessments.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • 7 to11 years of relevant experience in plumbing design for Process plants, Non Plant Buildings, Chemical plants, Refineries, or other industrial Plants.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (preferred), and hydraulic calculation tools.
  • Strong understanding of piping materials, plumbing codes, and industrial safety standards.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
