Key Responsibilities

  • • Regulatory Compliance Management (Core Focus): Act as the internal expert, ensuring product compliance with current and upcoming global regulations, including but not limited to REACH, RoHS, Prop 65, TSCA, PFAS, POP, and EU MDR.
  • • Customer & Supplier Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for compliance matters, effectively communicating requirements to suppliers and providing clear, accurate compliance information to customers.
  • • Report Preparation & Documentation: Develop, maintain, and present detailed compliance reports, declarations, and technical documentation for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
  • • Process Improvement & Tool Utilization: Proactively identify and implement improvements in compliance processes. Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and swiftly adapt to and leverage new compliance software/tools.
  • • Team Building & Collaboration: Actively participate in team-building activities, sharing knowledge and fostering a collaborative environment to achieve departmental and company goals.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in product environmental compliance or a related engineering field.
  • • Regulatory Expertise: Demonstrated, in-depth knowledge of REACH, RoHS, Prop 65, TSCA, PFAS, and POP regulations.
  • • Interpersonal & Character Skills (High Emphasis):
  • Reliability & Dependability: Proven track record of consistently meeting deadlines and delivering accurate results.
  • Attitude & Proactivity: A positive, solution-oriented attitude and the ability to take initiative with minimal supervision.
  • Strong Character: High integrity, ethics, and a commitment to professional conduct and APA Engineering's long-term vision.
  • • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective cross-functional and external stakeholder engagement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • • Experience with advanced regulatory frameworks: EU MDR, EUDR, CBAM, and ESG reporting.
  • • Proficiency in Safety Data Sheet (SDS) authoring.
  • • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and professional presentation development.
