UAV Developer

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with strong skills in sensor fusion, mathematics, and statistics to join our research team at IIT Kanpur. The role involves developing advanced algorithms for real-world sensing and estimation problems, with applications spanning robotics, autonomous systems, and intelligent signal processing.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement sensor fusion algorithms for real-world applications.
2. Apply rigorous mathematical and statistical methods to analyze, process, and model sensor data.
3. Work with MATLAB and Python for simulation, prototyping, and validation of algorithms.
4. Collaborate with a team of researchers and contribute to cutting-edge projects in electrical engineering.
5. Approach open-ended problems with creativity and critical thinking.

Requirements:

1. Strong foundation in mathematics and statistics.
2. Solid understanding of sensor fusion techniques (e.g., Kalman filters, Bayesian methods, state estimation).
3. Proficiency in MATLAB / Python.
4. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Open-minded, curious, and motivated to tackle real-world challenges.

Selection will be based on an interview on these topics, particularly mathematics and Kalman filters.

This position involves both research and development, with a starting salary of at least INR 50000/- per month. The salary may be higher depending on experience and expertise.
