Key Responsibilities

  • Reservoir Modeling Expertise: Ability to develop and calibrate reservoir models for CO₂ injection in saline aquifers and depleted reservoirs
  • Evaluation of Advanced Simulation Tools: Capability to assess next-generation reservoir simulation tools for their applicability and performance in CO₂ storage scenarios.
  • Uncertainty Analysis: Skills in analyzing uncertainties in input parameters (static, dynamic) and their impact on CO2 plume propagation distance and shape.
  • 4D Seismic Data Integration: Experience in calibrating reservoir models using 4D seismic data to align predicted CO₂ plume behavior with observed data, ensuring geological consistency.
  • Long-Term Plume Behavior Estimation: Ability to estimate long-term plume migration and assess the influence of storage mechanisms on plume stability.

Technical Reporting: Competence in documenting simulation results, analyses, and conclusions in structured technical reports

Software : Petrel, Reservoir simulator (ex. Intersect, Eclipse or other)
