Job Summary
FTSE Russell, a leader in global indexing and analytics, is seeking a Bengaluru-based Lead Full Stack Developer with 10 years of development experience to take full ownership of a small but important cloud-based project.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of software development, financial and capital markets, a strong background of team leadership, and the ability to drive complex projects to successful completion.
What You'll Do
As Lead Engineer, you'll build with purpose — solving real-world problems with measurable impact.
- Take full ownership of a small but important project built in various tech, including C#.NET, MVC, MSSQL, Angular, RESTful APIs, HTML/CSS
- Partner with global teams to make data/code updates, ensure compliance with LSEG policies, identify and define solutions to issues and new requirements
- Analyse production problems and provide troubleshooting and support.
- Field general queries regarding the application and how it interacts with business functions
- Implement RESTful APIs, microservices, and automated CI/CD pipelines
- Work with QA teams throughout release processes.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, high performance and quality via code reviews, ensuring standards and best practices are followed via agile methodologies.
- Communicate with clarity, precision, and influence, communicating complex information in a clear and concise format that is appropriate for various audiences
- Drive a culture of engineering excellence through mentorship, peer reviews, and promoting standard methodologies in software design and development
Tech Stack You'll Work On
- Backend: C# .NET, tSQL, RESTful APIs, microservices
- Frontend: Angular, JavaScript, HTML5/CSS
- Cloud: AWS (EC2, Lambda, SQS, SNS)
- Databases: SQL Server
- CI/CD/IaC: Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible

- Solid experience in UI development for business-critical applications using Angular modern JavaScript frameworks, HTML/CSS, C#, Unit Testing
