Overview

Payment Cancellation Services is the product which provides issuer a benefit to decline the transactions at authorization and clearing stages against merchant criteria. This product is within the Disputes Lifecycle program and provides vital systems and services to the Security Solution to scale the applications for global markets entry and provide issuers with a unified and consistent experience for all the participations that are at an account level. We are an agile development organization with teams located in both Dublin, Ireland and Pune, India.

Responsibility:

• To develop and implement changes in high-performance and scalable applications using Java technologies.

• Ensure the implementation is in line with enterprise architecture, principles, and agreed design, and a quality service is delivered into test and production environments successfully.

• Responsible to develop and implement business requirements as per business requirements in line with the agreed enterprise architecture and designs.

• Responsible for committing unit tested code in the code repository and verifying end-to-end test results.

• Responsible for implementing code in accordance with defined quality and coding standards, agreed design, and architecture.

• Delivery of any assigned tasks within specified timelines to the expected quality.

• To understand and adhere to the company IT methodology SDLC. This includes proactively raising timely exceptions/risks/issues, driving a culture of continuous improvement to raise the quality of deliverables.

• To carry out any other task associated with the role as reasonably requested.

• Respond to business queries and service requests.

All About You:

• Overall career experience of 3-5 years in Software Engineering
• Experience in Core Java, J2EE, Spring Boot is a must
• Experience in Web Services, Microservices, and API is a must
• Experience in Middle-tier and Backend is desirable
• Good to have experience on Wrappers, Spring Batch, Angular, and Cloud deployment
• Strong communicator with good written skills
• Good expertise in Agile application development
• Knowledge of working with Cloud platforms, performance, scalability
• Knowledge of the payments industry is good to have
