Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Developer Lead to join our dynamic team in Bangalore or Mumbai. This role is ideal for a seasoned Java professional with strong leadership qualities and a passion for building high-performance applications. As a Java Developer Lead, you will take ownership of technical strategy, mentor developers, and lead the end-to-end development lifecycle.

Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams, engage in architecture design, and ensure that our applications meet the highest standards of quality and performance. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of Java developers, ensuring adherence to coding best practices and development standards.
  • Define software architecture and design scalable, maintainable systems.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and define technical project scopes.
  • Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and facilitate regular knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Drive the adoption of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices across the team.
  • Engage in hands-on development and resolve complex technical challenges.
  • Monitor project timelines, manage resources, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and integrate relevant innovations into our solutions.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field; Masters degree is a plus.
  • Experience: 6-9 years of hands-on experience in Java development, including team leadership.
  • Expertise in:
  • Core Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate
  • Database technologies: MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.
  • Software design principles and architectural patterns
  • Bonus Skills:
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
  • Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Java Programmer)
