The Human Resources function at JPMorgan Chase is transitioning to a product-promoten approach to enhance personalized experiences for employees and managers. This transformation focuses on organizing and prioritizing work to deliver higher quality outputs. The HR Product Organization, part of Corporate HR, is pivotal in this shift, leading efforts to define outcomes, goals, and success measures using agile principles and a unified data architecture.
Job Summary
As a Vice President, Payroll Product Delivery Manager within the HR Global Operations Team, you will play a key role in the continued innovation and sustainment of the ADP Global View Payroll, related suite of applications, and business processes. You will be critical in defining the evolution of the platform, bringing efficiencies to processes and experiences that run across the function for all current/former employees, managers, and HR professionals firmwide.
Job responsibilities
- Leads end-to-end product delivery processes including intake, dependency management, release management, product operationalization, delivery feasibility decision-making, and product performance reporting, while escalating opportunities to improve efficiencies and functional coordination
- Leads the completion of change management activities across functional partners and ensures adherence to the firm's risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements
- Effectively manages timelines and dependencies while monitoring blockers, ensuring adequate resourcing, and liaising with stakeholders and functional partners
- Must be able to craft user stories for technology teams with a reference to functionalities like AI agentic workflows, orchestration layers, Oracle to ADP Payroll Interface , Payroll workflows, Stau integrations, reporting or compensation modules
- Manage the product backlog; Partners with the different teams to impact analysis for future investments and current items and drive towards success
- Manage product's experience including operations, technology, and data – knows expectations and areas of opportunity by key persona
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product delivery or a relevant domain area
- Demonstrated ability to execute operational management and change readiness activities
- Strong understanding of delivery and a proven track record of implementing continuous improvement processes
- Experience in product or platform-wide release management, in addition to deployment processes and strategies
- Experience and Ability to maintain a product backlog, and write user stories and epics
- End-to-end payroll understanding from Payroll processes or implementing ADP Global View
- Ability to write test scenarios, test cases and partner with business users to execute/conclude testing.
- Ability to identify solutions to business problems utilizing data, process, and digital assets.
- Proven ability to multitask and navigate multiple tasks running in parallel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to represent the product to stakeholder
- Customer obsessed – develops deep empathy and understanding in service of creating frictionless end-to-end experience
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
- Extensive knowledge in Payroll Processes
