Job Title: Senior Business Intelligence Analyst
Salary lpa(Open for negotiation for exceptional candidates depending on last ctc)
Reports to: Director of operations
Shift: Night Shift (US Hours)
Location-RemoteOverview
We are looking for a highly experienced and self-driven Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to establish and lead our analytics and reporting function. As the first hire in this area, this person will be responsible for building our BI foundations, delivering deep insights on campaign and platform performance, creating dashboards and automated reporting, improving data quality, and developing ROI analytics for customers. This role requires someone with strong technical expertise, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to translate data into compelling business narratives with actionable insights for internal teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities
Establish & Lead the BI Function
- Establish foundational reporting frameworks, processes, and best practices for the organization
- Define KPIs, data standards, and performance metrics across teams
- Build scalable reporting systems and automation to support future BI growth
- Partner with leadership to define long-term analytics strategy
Advanced Data Analysis & Insights
- Analyze campaign performance, customer behavior, and platform usage
- Identify key trends, drivers, and opportunities for performance improvement
- Deliver actionable ROI analyses and value insights for customers
- Conduct complex deep-dive analyses to support strategic initiatives
Reporting, Dashboards & Client Deliverables
- Design, build, and maintain robust dashboards and analytics visualizations
- Create recurring and ad-hoc performance reports for stakeholders
- Support customer-facing review materials including QBRs as part of ongoing reporting responsibilities
- Build clear, executive-ready presentations that communicate insights and suggested actions effectively
Data Quality, Structure & Infrastructure
- Ensure accuracy and reliability across all data sources and BI outputs, by establishing Quality Assurance (QA) standards and data-validation best practices
- Collaborate with data engineering on data warehouse structure, modeling, and pipeline optimization
- Create structured datasets, data marts, and documentation to support scalable analytics
- Establish data quality frameworks, validation processes, and reporting QA standards
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Leadership
- Work closely with marketing, customer success, product, and leadership to understand their analytics needs
- Advise teams on data-driven decision-making and measurement strategies
- Present findings and recommendations to executive stakeholders and clients
- Translate complex analytics into clear, simple narratives for non-technical audiences
Skills & Qualifications
Required
- 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Proven experience building BI capabilities, reporting frameworks, or data processes from the ground up
- Expert-level skills in Tableau, HubSpot, Microsoft Excel, Power BI (or similar tools)
- Strong SQL proficiency and experience working with structured data at scale
- Deep understanding of data warehouses, relational data models, and ETL concepts
- Demonstrated success analyzing campaign performance, platform metrics, and customer ROI
- Strong communication and presentation abilities—comfortable influencing leadership
- Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on data quality
- Ability to work independently and lead without heavy oversight
Preferred
- Experience supporting QBR/MBR reporting or customer-facing analytics
- Background in SaaS, marketing technology, customer success analytics, or performance reporting
- Familiarity with Python/R for advanced analytics
- Understanding of CRM and marketing automation systems
