Embedded C++ Linux

Description
Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded applications using C++ on Linux platforms.
• Design, implement, and debug Linux Kernel modules, device drivers, and low-level system components.
• Work on HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer) to enable seamless hardware–software integration.
• Optimize system performance, memory usage, and reliability for embedded devices.
• Collaborate with hardware and firmware teams to integrate new boards, peripherals, and SoCs.
• Diagnose and resolve kernel-level issues, crashes, and hardware–software interaction problems.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and system-level design discussions.

Requirements

• Should have 5 to 8 years of experience in Embedded systems design and development.
• Expertise in C/C++
• Experience working with embedded linux, IPC, multi threading etc
• Application development in multi-process/multi-thread environments
• Application/middleware development for consumer electronic devices.

Job responsibilities

• Strong proficiency in C++ and Embedded Linux development.
• Hands-on experience with Linux Kernel, device driver development, and kernel debugging tools.
• Experience working with HAL layers, board bring-up, and low-level hardware interactions.
• Solid understanding of memory management, interrupts, bootloaders, and system initialization.
• Experience with cross-compilation, build systems, and embedded toolchains.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
