About Us

We're building a queer-first dating platform designed to create safer, more authentic, and more joyful connections. Our mission is to reimagine online dating for the LGBTQIA+ community — centered on inclusivity, care, and meaningful interactions.

The Role

We're looking for a Backend+ Developer to help bring our iOS app, Android app, and web platform to life.

This is a key role where you'll design and shape the core backend that powers everything. While professional experience isn't required, you should have strong hands-on experience through personal projects, hackathons, or open-source work — and the confidence to make smart, scalable technical decisions.

You'll work closely with:

→ a technical advisor (with deep industry experience)

→ a business analyst

→ a UI developer and architect

→ plus access to AI tools and research support

What You'll Do


• Design and implement a scalable backend for mobile and web platforms.


• Build APIs (REST/GraphQL) for smooth integrations and real-time features.


• Set up authentication, messaging, databases, and infrastructure for growth.


• Collaborate with the team to ensure features are secure, efficient, and user-friendly.

Preferred Tech Direction

We're flexible on stack — here's the current direction:

→ Backend: Spring Boot (preferred) or

→ Databases: SQL and NoSQL

→ Cloud: AWS, GCP, or similar

→ Not Needed: Django
