We are seeking a talented Software Engineer – Backend to join our backend engineering team and contribute to building and maintaining APIs and services powering our newsletter platform and consumer-facing experiences. In this role, you will collaborate closely with senior engineers, product managers, and frontend developers to design scalable backend solutions, implement features, and deploy production-ready services using modern infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design, develop, and maintain GraphQL APIs using , , and MongoDB.

· Design and optimize database schemas and queries to ensure high performance and scalability.

· Collaborate with product teams, designers, and frontend engineers to deliver full-featured, end-to-end solutions.

· Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code with a focus on performance and scalability.

· Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing activities.

· Deploy and manage applications in Kubernetes clusters and AWS environments.

· Build and maintain automation pipelines using GitHub Actions, Terraform, and Helm charts.

· Monitor services, troubleshoot production issues, and implement robust solutions.

· Contribute to improving engineering standards, testing strategies, and system monitoring.

Desired Qualifications:

· Hands-on experience as a Backend Engineer in environments.

· Solid experience designing and maintaining GraphQL APIs.

· Strong knowledge of database schema design and query optimization (MongoDB preferred).

· Hands-on experience with Kubernetes orchestration and cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).

· Experience writing unit tests, integration tests, and following TDD practices.

· Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance tuning skills.

· Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional, globally distributed team.

· Eager to learn new technologies, share knowledge, and contribute in a collaborative environment.
