Job Description
We are seeking a Principal Public Health & Fire Protection Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru, India. In this senior-level position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of communities through innovative engineering solutions that address both public health concerns and fire protection challenges.

• Lead and oversee complex public health and fire protection engineering projects from conception to completion
• Develop and implement comprehensive risk assessment and mitigation strategies for various facilities and infrastructure
• Design and evaluate fire protection systems and public health measures for new and existing buildings
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with local, national, and international building codes and regulations
• Provide expert consultation on emergency response planning and disaster preparedness
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering their professional development
• Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in public health and fire protection engineering
• Represent the organization in industry forums and professional associations
• Contribute to the development of company policies and best practices in public health and fire safety

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Public Health, Fire Protection Engineering, or a closely related field
• Professional Engineering (PE) license
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in public health and fire protection engineering, with a proven track record of successful project completion
• Advanced knowledge of public health principles and fire protection engineering practices
• Expertise in building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to public health and fire safety
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools for design, modeling, and analysis
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated leadership experience and the ability to mentor junior engineers
• Relevant certifications in fire safety and public health (e.g., Certified Fire Protection Specialist, Certified in Public Health)
• Experience with risk assessment methodologies and emergency response planning
• Willingness to travel as required for project sites and professional development
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
