Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Develop high-quality, engaging content across various platforms including website, blog, social media channels, email campaigns, and marketing materials.
  • Client Interaction: Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their specific needs, preferences, and target audience.
  • Client Servicing: Provide exceptional client service by effectively communicating project timelines, deliverables, and progress updates.
  • Research: Conduct thorough research on industry trends, target audience demographics, and competitors for content development.
  • SEO Optimisation: Integrate relevant keywords throughout the content to improve search engine visibility and drive organic traffic.
  • Editing and Proofreading: Ensure all content is accurate, consistent with the client's brand voice, and free of errors.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the design and development teams to create visually appealing and strategically effective content.
  • Content Analytics: Track content performance metrics (e.g., website traffic, engagement rates) and provide insights to optimise future content strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a content writer with a strong portfolio showcasing exceptional writing skills and a diverse range of content samples.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices and content marketing principles.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and prioritise tasks effectively.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in client servicing or account management.
  • Working knowledge of social media platforms and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Google Analytics).
  • Ability to adapt writing style to different target audiences and content formats (e.g., blog posts, website copy, social media captions).
