Job Summary:

As a React Native Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms. This role requires an in-depth understanding of mobile development best practices, a strong command of JavaScript, and proficiency in the React Native framework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full-Cycle Mobile Application Development:
• Design, build, and maintain React Native applications for iOS and Android.
• Lead complex feature development, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and scalability.
• Translate wireframes, UI/UX designs, and product specifications into functional mobile applications.
• API and Third-Party Integration:
• Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party services, and libraries as needed, ensuring seamless connectivity and data flow.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API performance and reliability.
• Performance Optimization and Quality Assurance:
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, minimizing memory usage and improving battery efficiency.
• Conduct thorough testing, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests, using tools like Jest, Mocha, or Detox.
• Ensure cross-platform compatibility, debug platform-specific issues, and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Code Review and Mentorship:
• Perform code reviews to maintain code quality, consistency, and adherence to best practices.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, sharing best practices in coding, troubleshooting, and optimizing mobile applications.
• Collaboration and Technical Leadership:
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend developers to ensure alignment on technical requirements and project goals.
• Act as a technical lead on projects, contributing to architecture decisions and development strategies.

Requirements:

• Education and Experience: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with 6 months of experience in React Native development.
• Technical Skills:
• Advanced proficiency in React Native, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of mobile app architecture, cross-platform development, and performance optimization.
• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX) and knowledge of native development (Java/Kotlin for Android, Swift/Objective-C for iOS).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and automated deployment processes for App Store and Google Play.
• Additional Skills:
• Expertise in using debugging and profiling tools.
• Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and experience collaborating with designers to create intuitive, user-friendly applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing technical challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with mobile testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, Detox).
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, with experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Previous experience as a technical lead on a React Native project.
