Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer with strong proficiency in SolidWorks to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, modeling, and development of mechanical components and assemblies for [product type or industry, e.g., industrial machinery, consumer electronics, etc.].

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical parts, assemblies, and systems using SolidWorks.
  • Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models for manufacturing and assembly.
  • Perform simulations and analysis (e.g., FEA, stress, thermal) to validate designs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, manufacturing, and quality departments.
  • Review and update Bill of Materials (BOMs) and maintain design documentation.
  • Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous product improvement.
  • Ensure designs comply with relevant standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Support prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Work with vendors and suppliers to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements:Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • [2–5+] years of relevant experience in mechanical design and product development.
  • Strong portfolio or work experience with SolidWorks CAD software.
