Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in
    basic keyword research
    and maintain keyword sheets under guidance.
  • Support the team with
    competitor checks
    and identifying simple content opportunities.
  • Help in
    on-page optimisation tasks
    like updating meta titles/descriptions, alt tags, and internal links.
  • Participate in
    technical SEO checks
    , such as spotting broken links, slow pages, or missing tags.
  • Work closely with the SEO Manager to
    draft content briefs
    for blogs and landing pages.
  • Track daily/weekly performance using
    Google Search Console and GA4
    , and update reports.
  • Assist in updating
    schema markup templates
    and learn implementation practices.
  • Stay updated with latest SEO trends, tools, and Google algorithm changes.
  • Support website updates across
    WordPress/Shopify/Magento
    (training will be provided).

Must-Have Skills

  • Basic understanding of SEO concepts (keywords, meta tags, backlinks, crawling).
  • Familiarity with SEO tools like
    Google Search Console, GA4
    , and at least one among Ahrefs/SEMrush (training provided).
  • Willingness to learn
    technical SEO
    and use tools like Screaming Frog.
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong analytical thinking, curiosity, and willingness to explore new tools/techniques.
  • Good communication skills for creating simple reports and discussing findings.
  • Ability to work on Excel/Google Sheets for maintaining trackers.
