NetSuite Techno-functional Consultant (Remote, India)

This is a contract role with one of our clients. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, QA, functional, and development teams to define business requirements for new and existing features in NetSuite. You will oversee the implementation of functional, regression, and acceptance testing to ensure products meet company and industry quality standards. You are a NetSuite functional expert with complete command and grasp on Features and Functionality (including config and administration) of NetSuite.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise, recommend solution alternatives, and identify risks.
  • Lead and mentor team members on continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Adhere to and enforce software quality standards, including design, data quality, version control, defect tracking, documentation, code reviews, unit testing, and environment management.
  • Review requirements/user stories, provide feedback, and contribute to requirements definition.
  • Define and oversee test strategies and execution for functional, regression, and acceptance testing.
  • Ensure developed solutions align with business needs.
  • Work under tight deadlines with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Comfortable working evening hours (2 PM – 11 PM IST).

Qualifications

  • 4–6 years of experience with SuiteScript 1.0 & 2.0.
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite workflows, fields, saved searches, forms, roles/permissions, custom objects, reports, and dashboards.
  • Solid understanding of O2C, P2P, MFG, and R2R processes.
  • Experience with third-party integrations (Dell Boomi, Celigo) preferred.
  • Knowledge of SuiteConnect and SDF is a plus.
  • Experience with JavaScript, PL/SQL, relational database design, and Oracle stored procedures is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, work independently, and propose alternative solutions.
  • Familiarity with QA best practices and tools (Jira, GIT, etc.).
