Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain inventory of construction materials, tools, machinery, and consumables at the site store.
• Receive materials as per purchase orders, conduct quality & quantity checks, and record GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes).
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and stacking of materials to prevent damage and loss.
• Maintain inward/outward register, stock ledger, and issue slips with accurate daily records.
• Coordinate with procurement, accounts, and site execution teams to ensure timely material availability.
• Monitor minimum stock levels, prepare indent requests, and follow up on pending deliveries.
• Conduct regular stock verification and physical audits; reconcile differences and report discrepancies.
• Ensure materials are issued only against approved requisitions and verify usage based on work progress.
• Handle returnable items (shuttering, tools, equipment) and maintain proper tracking for reuse.
• Implement safety measures and ensure fire and theft prevention protocols are in place at the store.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Graduate or Diploma in any discipline (preference for Civil or Logistics background).
• Experience: 410 years of relevant experience as a storekeeper/store incharge in the construction or real estate industry.

• Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Tally, BuildSmart), and stock control software.

• Understanding of construction materials like cement, steel, tiles, sanitaryware, paints, etc.
• Familiarity with barcoding, material reconciliation, and manual record keeping.
