Cisco Enterprise Network Engineer

This role offers an exciting opportunity to design, implement, and maintain robust enterprise network infrastructures using Cisco technologies. You will play a critical role in ensuring network reliability, scalability, and security across complex environments. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will translate business requirements into technical solutions while mentoring junior engineers and contributing to best practices. The position requires hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems, along with expertise in network security and cloud networking. · Design, plan, and deploy Cisco-based network solutions to meet business and client requirements.

· Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, wireless controllers, and other networking devices.

· Monitor network performance, conduct capacity planning, and optimize infrastructure for high availability and reliability.

· Implement network security measures, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

· Maintain detailed network documentation, diagrams, and reports on performance trends and updates.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors, providing technical expertise and guidance on network-related initiatives.

· Mentor junior network engineers and support leadership in growing the network practice.

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

· Cisco certifications required; CCIE strongly preferred.

· Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols including TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VPN, and QoS.

· Extensive experience designing, implementing, and supporting Cisco network infrastructure.

· Proficiency with Meraki switches, MX security appliances, MR access points, and SFP/SFP+ modules.

· Experience with AWS networking and vendor security products (Palo Alto, Fortinet).

· Strong knowledge of network security principles, monitoring, and management tools.
