About the Role
  • The VP of Operations will drive the success of Kenko's AI Marketing Manager product with full ownership of service delivery, client strategy, and fulfillment. This is not a sales or business development role; you will inherit an active client portfolio. Your mandate: build, optimize, and lead the marketing engine that drives measurable growth for hundreds of fitness studios.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Client Growth Strategy
  • Develop and execute strategies for acquisition, retention, and lifecycle management, building scalable growth systems for our clients.
  • Own and Scale Service Delivery
  • Oversee all digital marketing channels, starting with SEO, GBP, website optimization, lifecycle marketing, organic social, and reputation management. Expand services to paid media (Google, Meta, etc.) as needed.
  • Technical Marketing Leadership
  • Manage all technical setup and tracking (GA4, GTM, pixel/event tracking, conversion rate optimization, attribution, etc.) with hands-on expertise.
  • Build and Lead Teams
  • Recruit, coach, and scale high-performing teams of growth strategists and channel specialists in a fast-paced, people-heavy environment.
  • Drive Automation in Fulfillment
  • Continuously improve and automate service delivery processes using technology and data—ensuring efficiency, consistency, and quality.
  • Performance Management
  • Own KPIs for portfolio performance and revenue growth, directly enabling Kenko's rapid business expansion.
  • Client Success Ownership
  • Be the senior accountability point for client portfolio outcomes and satisfaction. Your work will have a direct, measurable impact on both client and company success.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years in digital marketing; at least 5 years in agency leadership (VP, Head, Founder).
  • Expert across SEO and AEO, paid media, GBP/Google Business, lifecycle marketing, social, and analytics.
  • Hands-on technical proficiency in GA4, GTM, tracking, attribution, and performance measurement.
  • Proven experience leading teams in service-heavy, high-pressure agency settings.
  • Track record of driving growth by building automated and scalable delivery systems.
  • High-integrity leader with strong operational and coaching skills, thriving in fast-paced environments.
