Job Summary

The Smartphone Technician is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing smartphones and related devices. The role involves hardware repairs, software issues, customer interaction, and ensuring high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair smartphone hardware issues including:
  • Screen replacement
  • Battery replacement
  • Charging port repair
  • Camera repair
  • Speaker/microphone issues
  • Water damage treatment
  • Perform software troubleshooting:
  • OS flashing and updates
  • Unlocking/password reset (as per company policy)
  • App and system issue resolution
  • Use proper tools and follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) safety procedures.
  • Maintain accurate repair logs and documentation.
  • Provide excellent customer service and explain issues/solutions clearly.
  • Conduct quality checks before and after repair.
  • Ensure timely completion of repairs and meet performance targets.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation.
  • Stay updated on new smartphone models and repair techniques.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a smartphone/mobile repair technician.
  • Strong knowledge of smartphone hardware and software (Android & iOS).
  • Ability to perform micro-soldering (optional but preferred).
  • Skilled in using repair tools: heat gun, multimeter, opening tools, soldering iron, etc.
  • Good problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical certification in mobile repair/electronics preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15, ₹25,000.00 per month
