Job Summary:
We are looking for a seasoned Payroll Specialist with 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in managing end-to-end payroll processes, statutory compliance, and payroll audits. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Indian payroll regulations, strong analytical skills, and experience using payroll/HRIS systems.
This role demands high accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to manage complex payroll operations across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Payroll Management:
Manage monthly payroll processing for all employees
Ensure accuracy in salary inputs, variable pay, deductions, reimbursements, etc. - Statutory Compliance:
Ensure timely deductions and filings of PF, ESI, TDS, PT, LWF, etc.
Stay updated with changes in labor laws and income tax rules - Full & Final Settlements:
Process FnF including leave encashment, gratuity, and final tax computation
Ensure smooth coordination with HR Ops and Finance - Payroll Reconciliation:
Reconcile salary registers with accounting entries and bank transfers
Handle discrepancies, reversals, and corrections - Taxation & Year-End Activities:
Validate and process investment declarations and proofs
Coordinate issuance of Form 16 and handle income tax queries - HRIS & Payroll Systems:
Work on platforms like Darwinbox, SAP, ADP, or similar
Generate and manage MIS reports, dashboards, and audit data - Audit & Compliance:
Prepare payroll reports for internal and statutory audits
Ensure adherence to SOX and company-specific compliance frameworks
Required Skills:
Payroll Processing (End-to-End)
Statutory Compliance (PF, ESI, TDS, PT, etc.)
Full & Final Settlement Management
Income Tax Computation & Form 16
Reconciliation & Reporting
Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivots, Formulas)
Experience with HRIS & Payroll Software (SAP, Darwinbox, ADP, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA in HR / Finance or equivalent post-graduation
810 years of relevant experience in payroll management
Exposure to payroll audits and multi-location payroll preferred
Strong understanding of Indian labor laws and taxation

Working Terms:
- Time-off Rotation will be 6 Month working and 21 Days off if posted in Lagos, 6 months ON 30 days OFF, if posted in Plant/Site. & subsequently followed by every 6 months once (with International & Domestic air ticket provided by the company)
- Workdays & Hours Six and half days work
- First salary will be released after 60 Days followed by the salary cycle (Ex: If you join in July, you will get first month salary in September then after that every month you will get regularly)
