Applications are invited for the Post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the DST-SERB Funded Project at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), (CRG_2022_006992), Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT). This is a collaborative project between IIT Goa and VIT. The selected candidates will have an opportunity to work with both PI and Co-PI.

Title of the Project

:

"An efficient, high-order accurate, parallel solver for Large Eddy Simulation (LES) of turbulent flows".

Qualification

:

Masters or Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or allied branches or Masters Degree in Mathematics.

Desirable (if any)

:

Knowledge of computational fluid dynamics. Programming in C/C++/Matlab

Stipend

:

Rs. 37,000/ + HRA - per month with NET/GATE. For candidates without NET/GATE, stipend will be as per Institute norms.
